Our Mission
"The mission of The United Methodist Chruch is to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world."
Desert Foothills United Methodist Church exists to build a better life, community, and world through encounters with God.
Our History
Desert Foothills United Methodist Church is a diverse congregation which began in 1992 in the Ahwatukee Foothills area of Phoenix. We are all looking for a place where we can cultivate and strengthen our relationship with Christ and one another. We welcome you to join us as we build a better life, community and world through encounters with God.What We Believe
The United Methodist Church is a 12.6 million-strong global church that opens hearts, opens minds and opens doors through active engagement with our world.
John Wesley and the early Methodists placed primary emphasis on Christian living, on putting faith and love into action. This emphasis on what Wesley referred to as "practical divinity" has continued to be a hallmark of United Methodism today.
