Children

At DFUMC, children engage with Bible stories through age-appropriate lessons, creative arts and crafts, and interactive games that help them grow in their faith. These activities encourage them to explore what it means to be a disciple of Jesus Christ in today's world.

Each Sunday, children are invited to bring a small offering—typically a coin or a dollar—which is collected throughout the school year. In May, the accumulated donations are used to sponsor animals for Heifer International.

Children’s Sunday School
Children’s Sunday School takes place during the 10:00am service, with children excused partway through the service to attend.
Open to children ages Preschool through 12 years old.
