Sunday School & Small Groups

There’s a place for everyone at DFUMC — whether you’re looking for Bible study, prayer, or simply meaningful fellowship and connection.

At DFUMC, children explore Bible stories through age-appropriate lessons, creative arts and crafts, and engaging games. These activities help them grow in their faith and understand what it means to follow Jesus Christ in their everyday lives.

Every Sunday, children are encouraged to bring a small offering—anything from a single coin to a dollar. Throughout the school year, these contributions are collected, and in May, we use them to select animals to donate to Heifer International, teaching the importance of giving and making a global impact.

During the service, children are dismissed to attend Sunday School, where they can learn and grow in a fun and nurturing environment.

New Members/baptism/Confirmation

If you would like to join our church, be baptized (children or adults), or wondering about confirmation (for those 13 and up), contact the church office.

Adults

DFUMC adults gather to study the Bible together in a welcoming and supportive community. During these gatherings, participants pray, share stories, and learn from one another as they grow in faith. You are invited to join this community of learners!

Adult Sunday School | 9:00 AM on Sunday mornings in the Conference Room.
Adult Bible Study | Mondays at 6:00 PM in the Conference Room. Please enter through the A Entry Door.

Fellowship & Special Gatherings

Mahjong Game Night
Thursdays at 6:00 PM
Enjoy an evening of fun, strategy, and fellowship as we gather to play Mahjong together. All skill levels are welcome! Please enter through the B Entry Door.

Ladies Who Lunch
Third Thursday of each month | Restaurant location varies
A time for women of the church to gather for food, friendship, and meaningful conversation. RSVP is required. An email is sent to the Ladies Who Lunch list each month with the restaurant location and details. If you would like to be added to the email list or attend this month’s gathering, please contact the church office.
