New Tenant Needed: Help Us Fill an Important Space in Our Church Community

This summer, Desert Foothills United Methodist Church said goodbye to a longtime tenant — a preschool that had brought life and activity to our church campus for over 20 years. While not officially part of our congregation, the preschool played a vital role in supporting our mission by connecting us to local families and contributing consistent rental income that helped support our ministries.

With their closure, we now have three well-equipped classrooms (each with attached restrooms), a reception hall, and a storage room available for immediate use. These spaces are ideal for another preschool, enrichment program, or a community-serving organization in need of weekday facilities.

We are actively looking for a new tenant who will not only benefit from the space but also help us continue serving the community in meaningful ways. Your help in spreading the word is greatly appreciated. Whether you know someone looking to start or relocate a program, or have connections with local organizations, every referral helps.

In addition to seeking a new long-term tenant, Desert Foothills UMC continues to support the community by providing free meeting space to groups such as the Boy Scouts, AA and Al-Anon, and the Red Cross. Our sanctuary is also used for music recitals and private lessons, with additional space currently available for new music instructors or one-time event rentals.

If you or someone you know might be interested in renting space, please contact the church office at your earliest convenience.

Together, let’s continue to be a place of welcome, purpose, and partnership for our local community.
