A Note of Thanks From the Outreach Committee

Our Outreach Committee would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped make our first-ever Trunk or Treat and Chili Cook-Off, held on October 25, such an outstanding success!

Thanks to the generosity, creativity, and prayers of our church family, the event exceeded all expectations. We welcomed over 200 community members to our church grounds, enjoyed 20 creatively decorated trunks, sampled 11 delicious chili entries, and served 120 hot dogs throughout the evening. The atmosphere was filled with joy, laughter, and meaningful fellowship—a true reflection of the love and hospitality our congregation is known for.

A special congratulations goes to Lee Mashburn, whose chili was voted the overall favorite, and to Pastor Robert, who finished a very close second. Thank you to everyone who put time and care into cooking and sharing their best recipes!

To all who prayed, donated supplies, volunteered, cooked, decorated a trunk, or helped behind the scenes in any way—thank you. Your efforts created a warm, welcoming space for our community to come together and experience God’s love in a tangible way.

We are grateful for each of you, and we’re already looking forward to doing it again next year!

    With appreciation,
    The Outreach Committee
