Each year, DFUMC helps provide Thanksgiving hams for seniors served by the JUSTA Center who have transitioned from homelessness into permanent housing.

Many of these seniors live on very limited incomes and have little or no family support. JUSTA provides a Thanksgiving meal for the seniors they serve, and DFUMC helps by providing the hams.

The Missions team collects one-pound hams and delivers them to JUSTA in time for Thanksgiving. Members of our congregation can participate by donating a ham or making a contribution toward the purchase of hams.

This is a simple but meaningful way to help make Thanksgiving special for seniors who have worked hard to establish a home of their own.
