DFUMC partners with Valley Bloom, a thrift store in Chandler, to help provide clothing and household necessities to people served by the JUSTA Center.

Valley Bloom generously makes surplus donations available to JUSTA. These items help both seniors who are experiencing homelessness and those who have recently moved into housing.

Donations may include clothing, shoes, backpacks, dishes, pots and pans, glasses, linens, and other household necessities. These everyday items can make a meaningful difference for someone who is rebuilding their life and establishing a home.

DFUMC volunteers help make this ministry possible by picking up donations from Valley Bloom and delivering them to JUSTA. Volunteers typically make a trip about once a week, although drivers can serve as their schedules allow.

We are grateful for the volunteers who give their time to keep this ministry going. Even volunteering occasionally helps ensure these much-needed donations continue to reach the people who need them.
